Summer Kid Camp at Urban Roots has been a family favorite for years! Kiddos will get their hands dirty while learning about growing and harvesting food. Engineering, literature, animals, insects, plants, water, cooking and art are the themes our educators will use to guide your child through exploration of the natural world!Registration opens March 15, 2024

Are they parasites or pals? Join us down in the dirt as we dig and discover what our farm friends and fiends are down to. Let's worm awhile!
🎨 June 24 - 28 - Barnyard Brushes & Blooms (Art Week)
Grab your brushes and smocks! Come cultivate your canvas and design your own garden masterpieces this week!
🐄 July 1 - 3 - Moo! It's a Zoo! (Animals Week)
Friends that flock together, rock together! It's a rodeo roundup, so get your claws and paws over to Urban Roots for our mammal menagerie.

Calling all Very Hungry Campers! Come join us on a flavorful adventure filled with whisks and wonder.

We're going back 65 million years to enjoy a prehistoric harvest with our funky, fossil friends! Join us in digging in the dirt for dazzling dino discoveries!
🛠️ July 22 - 26 - Tools, Tech, & Thyme (Engineering Week)
Grab your tools, there's a leek in the boat! It's thyme to design so let's join our buds that build and create beautiful projects around the garden.
🌱 July 29 - August 2 - Sprout About It (Plant Week)
Can you handle these botanicals? Herb's the word this week as we investigate the roots and shoots growing on the farm.
💦 August 5 - 9 - Splish, Splash, Splat! (Water Week)
Well, well, well, water we have here? Come on an agua adventure as we explore the rivers and raindrops in the truckee meadows!
