On the water enjoying the beautiful summer daze all while lazy floating down the beautiful Huron River with the COUNTER CULTURE CONNECT COMMUNITY!
Our mission is to create an eye-opening experience that turns us onto a new form of living; a new way to be inspired. To provide tools that can be integrated into the life we are already living or to inspire a complete shift in our life path.

Whether you're kayaking down the river, feeling the rush of a cool splash from tubing down the cascades, catching your first fish, or enjoying the boat rentals, parks, or boardwalk... Ann Arbor, Michigan not only packs an epic nature adventure; it reconnects you to the raw force of nature itself, that which awakens your inner wild.
We invite you to take it easy, explore the area before or after the trip to maximize your experience, and truly root down into your being. Your illuminated presence in the world is needed now more than ever. nature itself
Caution: Parking can be limited on the busiest summer days, so be sure to arrive on time or check out the overflow lots and shuttles.
Paddle through the Argo Cascades, a series of nine small rapids, rock chutes and pools through the heart of downtown Ann Arbor.
From Argo Park to Gallup Canoe & Livery, we will travel 3.7 river miles. At the beginning, we will encounter 9 man-made cascades that were recently built in 2012. Each rapid chute is unique and exhilarating.
From there, the river slows with a sandy bottom and beautiful scenery. This is where we will stop for a lunch picnic and swim by the island and river bank while we enjoy the day.
