We are excited to announce our Summer Intensive 2024! There will be 3 exciting weeks of intense dancing for those looking to strengthen their technique in dance. It is an opportunity to take technique classes with our professional faculty and guest artists from New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, as well as many other dance institutions from throughout the US and internationally. There are many opportunities for anyone who would like to join. From ages 7-11, we have a junior division of our summer intensive that gives young dancers an opportunity to train in a vibrant professional environment. While still keeping our students motivated, we like to have fun and keep a positive attitude as we strive for excellence. For ages 12 to adult, we focus on developing individual artistry, while also increasing technical proficiency and immersing students in a rich creative process that supports artistic risk-taking and independent thinking. For ALL participants involved in the summer intensive, there will be a showcase at the end of the program on July 26th at 7pm. It will take place at the historic Polk Theater located in downtown, Munn park. You can choose to only attend the technique classes but it is encouraged that you participate in the show.
