At Sagehill Stables, we offer safe and fun riding camp experiences that combine a love for horses and the outdoors. Opportunities for kids to connect with farm life and animals is becoming more rare, which is why we have designed our day camps to provide horse riding lessons, learning horse care, playing outdoor games and activities and getting crafty. Our experienced coaches and staff team are here to facilitate a positive learning environment and tailor the activities to the group. Who: Beginner, Post-Introductory, Novice & Intermediate students
Ages 8 to 15
Dates: throughout the months of July & August
Camp Activities
Depending on experience level, day camps will include:
Horse safety
Horse health & welfare
One daily group riding lesson
learn riding basics or improve skills, try new disciplines, riders become stronger, fitter equestrians
groups according to skill level
Stable management - help with barn chores & tack maintenance
Equine assisted learning activities to work on communication skills, team building, confidence building & empathy
Grooming, bathing, groundwork, horse games
Horse crafts (i.e. paint horseshoes, create posters, make t-shirts)
Fun games and outdoor activities
Summer Horse Riding Camp

*All camp weeks are 5 days except the week of August 5th which is 4 days.
Youth ages 8 to 15
Beginner, Post-Introductory, Novice and Intermediate riders
Ideal for students who don't have any horse experience AND for kids who have completed the Sagehill Intro Program or are enrolled in our Post-Intro, Novice or Intermediate EDP lesson program.
Rates:
Full 5-Day Week Camp: $500 + GST ($100/day)
Full 4-Day Week Camp (August 5th to 8th): $400 + GST ($100/day)
Early Bird Special - register before April 1st to enjoy $10/day off your final camp invoice!
Multiple Week Discount - register for more than 1 week OR more than one child per family and enjoy $10/day off your camp week!
$150 deposit required to book your spot. Remaining fees due on the first day of camp (invoices will be sent close to your registered camp day) and can be paid via e-transfer or cheque.
Pleased note you cannot combine early bird and multiple week discounts.
