Golden Harvest Food Bank’s Summer Harvest program helps fill the gap when school meals are unavailable. During summer break, many children lose access to the free or reduced-price meals they rely on. Summer Harvest ensures Georgia families with children ages 17 and under have access to healthy, nourishing food through convenient local distributions.WHO CAN ATTEND:
Those families with children aged 17 and younger. No pre-enrollment necessary.
WHAT’S IN THE BOX:
Each Summer Harvest box includes kitchen staples like pantry items, and frozen meats.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-For your safety, please remain in your car throughout the event.
-Volunteers will direct vehicles into a line upon arrival.
-Please empty your trunk in advance. Volunteers will potentially place food directly into your vehicle.
