Summer Hang for Christian Singles - Concert at Riverside Park

There are so many great events already happening in the city and we want to take advantage of them in a casual setting with fellow singles. This will not be like one of our typical events! This is just a gathering of Christian singles in their 30s and 40s, with a chance to connect and build community.

What to expect about the concert:
From their event page: "Durieux is a Bronx-based band known for an idiosyncratic, yet moving, take on Alternative R&B/Soul. Durieux’s goal is to bring the euphoric experience of community through music."
Is this a collaboration with the concert?
No. We just wanted to find a fun event where we could meet up and mingle. This event is open to the public and there will be other people there. We'll have name tags available so you know who is associated with our group!
Will there be structured activities related to dating?
Nope! This will be a casual hangout where you can meet people in a similar life stage. We want to build community and help facilitate meeting new people.
Will there be equal men and women at this event?
We try to keep the numbers equal at our typical events, but since this is just a meet-up, we will NOT be following this same method for this particular event. (Hey, you never know if someone has a sibling/cousin/friend they could introduce you to!)
What should I bring?
We're planning to bring some blankets to sit on and maybe some snacks to share. We encourage you to bring a blanket, towel, or chair if you can, and snacks or beverages if you'd like, but no pressure!
How will I find you at the event?
Look for an email right before the event with more info. We'll have a distinct helium balloon with us (we'll let you know what shape it is), and we'll also provide a phone number where you can text us.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We'll reach out if that happens--there might be a rain date or we can consider moving the hangout to a local indoor spot. Keep an eye out for details in that case!
