Very excited to announce Summer FLAMENCO Workshops with the amazing guest teacher Monika Hatcher and our very own Kristy Manuel.These workshops will take place over two days Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 January. Please save these dates as you will not want to miss out!
There will be two workshops available over the two days Palmas (hand clapping) and Cajon (flamenco drumming) with Monika AND Manton (shawl) Technique and Sevillanas Flamencas with Manton with Kristy.
No experience with cajon or manton needed and we have cajons and mantons we can lend for the duration of the workshop if you have registered prior. All levels welcome from experienced beginners up!
Workshops 1: Palmas & Cajon (taught by Monika)
Workshop 2: Manton Technique and Sevillanas Flamencas with Manton (taught by Kristy)
Workshops Times
Saturday 18 January:
11am - 12 noon - Palmas and Cajon
30 minute break
12:30-2:00pm - Sevillanas with Manton
Sunday 19 January:
1:00-2:00pm - Palmas and Cajon
30 minute break
2:30-4:00pm - Sevillanas with Manton
Early Bird Prices (until 6 January)
Cajon and Palmas 2 hours $70/$63 conc.
Sevillanas Flamencas with Manton 3 hours $100/$90 conc.
Both workshops 5 hours $150/$135 conc.
Prices from 7 January
Cajon and Palmas 2 hours $77/$70 conc.
Sevillanas Flamencas with Manton 3 hours $110/$100 conc.
Both workshops 5 hours $130/$150 conc.
Casual attendance $40 per hour
