A series of NYC-themed films screened under the stars
In the 1977 romantic comedy Annie Hall, neurotic comedian Alvy Singer (Woody Allen) tells the story of his failed relationship with a charming but anxious nightclub singer (Diane Keaton). By turns comical, nostalgic, and bittersweet, Singer narrates his life, from growing up under a roller coaster in Coney Island to navigating the challenges of modern romance. Rated PG; 97 minutes.
Offered in conjunction with "Willem de Kooning: The Breakthrough Years, 1945–50," this film is part of the Museum’s outdoor summer film series, showcasing three movies set in New York City. Bring your own blanket! In case of inclement weather, the screening will be moved to the Museum’s Grand Hall.
Free and open to the public; no tickets or registration required.
LATE THURSDAYS! The Museum’s Late Thursdays programming is made possible in part by Heather and Paul G. Haaga Jr., Class of 1970.
