You are invited to the Old Abbey Taphouse’s free summer feast so we can hear all about how we can better serve our different communities.
We pride ourselves on being a pub for our community and last year won the Community Pub of the Year award, at the Great British pub awards. We run various programmes including Taphouse TV Dinners, STEAM Radio and Communitea to try to connect with local people.
There have been many changes for us over the past few years with Covid and cost of living crisis. Just keeping the doors open has become a marker of success for us. However, we want to do better and make the time to hear from people directly.
Whether you live in the local area, have attended a live music night, volunteered, used our rehearsal rooms, used to work here, performed, been on STEAM Radio, involved with our heritage projects, partied at a club night, supported our outreach efforts or just like to come in for a pint - we want to hear from you.
