Summer Family Series: Challenge Island (Mount Kilimanjaro)

About this Event

Join Challenge Island and take part in a variety of FREE, fun, and interactive educational demonstrations! Challenge Island is a pioneer in STEAM (Sience, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education, and they are taking the lead in encouraging families to embrace a transformative goal – reducing screen time for children. This initiative is focused on fostering creativity, critical thinking, and family bonding through engaging, screen-free experiences.

Challenge Island will be taking participants on an imaginative trip to the peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro, where students will learn about the 5 climate zones and identify the main characteristics of each biome and the animals that live there. After reaching the top of the mountain, students will use creativity to design and experiement with slopes to safely descend from the top of the mountain!

*Walk-ups will also be permitted as space allows.
