Summer Entertaining Series - "Le Cinq à Sept" - Partying Like the French

For those who may think the French can be a bit uptight, we suggest visiting a Parisian bar right after work hours for a distinctly different experience. The din of conversation, laughter, and the soft clinking of toasting glasses fills the room. The relaxed energy of Le Cinq à Sept, "the five-to-seven" is inescapable.

As the French wind down after a long work day, they cherish the opportunity to connect with friends over drinks and, in true French fashion, food. This l'heure de l'apéro isn't meant to replace dinner, however, only to stimulate the appetite and tide one over until later in the evening when a proper meal is enjoyed. That means small bites bursting with flavor, not calories. Spicy, marinated olives. Baguette slices smeared with incredibly rich butter and anchovies. Whisper-thin slices of charcuterie matched to savory cheeses. So many options.

Join educator and writer (and bon vivant) Adam Centamore for an evening learning the ways of this French entertaining institution. You'll sample a variety of typical happy hour snacks and bites found throughout Paris, paired with the libations served in the City of Lights.Jusqu'a la morte!

To fully participate in the class:
1. Reserve your ticket through Eventbrite! Purchase one ticket for each member of your party. The ticket price includes admission for one as well as a cheese plate, wine, and accompaniments for one. Guests can expect light fare to go with the beverage pairings.
2. This is a standing event in our retail learning setting. The duration of the class is about an hour and a half. After class, there will be time to tour our cheese caves as well as shop our expansive product selection (at a 10% discount!).
3. This event is for 21+. Our staff will check IDs at the door.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to attend a class, please let us know at least 72 hours before the class is scheduled to take place and we will give you a full refund or a credit for a future class. If you don't let us know in advance of the class, you are not entitled to any refund or credit.
