Summer Dance Intensive

Welcome to our Summer School at Leicester College, a vibrant and dynamic program designed to ignite your passion for dance and elevate your skills to new heights.  

Whether you are looking to refresh skills, strengthen your technique or explore new styles in a supportive and inspiring environment, our summer intensive is the perfect place to be to ensure you thrive and express your creativity. 

Sessions will be led by two professional dance artists and choreographers currently working in the industry. Demi Essex and Zita Lukacs offer a diverse range of dance styles, catering to dancers of all levels, from beginners to advanced.  

Sessions are open to all dancers 16+ with some experience in dance. 

What to expect 

• 3 classes and 4 hours of training per day.  

• Each day starts and ends with a stretch and conditioning session.  

Day 1: Lyrical, Contemporary, Musical Theatre Jazz 

Day 2: Jazz Fusion, Afrobeats, Latin 

Day 3: Creative Contemporary, Commercial, Heels

What will I need to bring? 

• Suitable loose clothing and dancewear 

• Trainers 

• Jazz shoes and Dance Heels (optional) 

• Change of clothing (optional) 

• Lunch, snacks and water
