Ready for a summer of discovery? Join us at Plant Batter Bakery + Kitchen for The Edible Expedition, a multi-week culinary journey designed for young chefs! This summer, we aren't just following recipes—we’re exploring the world of plant-based cooking through science, culture, and hands-on creativity.
Whether your child is a budding baker or a future executive chef, they will spend each week mastering the "how" and "why" behind their favorite foods.
What Your Young Chef Will Experience:
Hands-on Skills: Master essential knife skills, kitchen safety, and "mise en place" organization.
The Science of Batter: Fun, edible experiments that explain the chemistry of baking and plant-based substitutions.
Global & Local Flavors: A rotating focus on seasonal Florida produce and international culinary techniques.
Family Take-Home Meals: On Tuesdays and Thursdays, campers prepare a plant-based entree for a family of four to enjoy at home!
Camp Essentials & Safety:
To keep our kitchen safe and our chefs hydrated, we require:
Safety First: Campers must wear closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
Stay Hydrated: Please bring a labeled, refillable water bottle each day.
All Included: We provide all professional-grade ingredients, equipment, daily plant-based lunch, and snacks.
