Join us for free summer concerts in the library's outdoor pavilion. One Sunday each month, June to September, we'll host free music from 2pm to 4pm. Bring a chair or a blanket for the lawn and enjoy a summer afternoon of great music. This concert series is generously sponsored by our Friends of Reed Memorial Library. Sunday, June 15th, Silver & Strings Trio
The Silver & Strings Trio was the first ensemble of its kind in Ohio. Performing since 1985, they have often been imitated but never duplicated. With Robin Tryon on flute, Elaine Anderson on cello, and Brent Schloneger on piano, they perform an extensive repertoire of classical, popular, and jazz standards.
We'll also have the Dreamsicle ice cream truck on hand with sweet treats!
Sunday, July 13th, Babies in Black
Duo Rachel Roberts and Beth Hiser combine voices, guitar and bass to perform popular songs from the '50s and '60s, and new originals with the doo-wop vibe. Get sweets and drinks from the Donut NV truck, parked by the plaza.
Sunday, August 10, Back Alley Relics
Since 2015 the Back Alley Relics have been providing audiences with sonic dynamite! They deliver Northeast Ohio's best classic rock, blues, and original songs. Three-part vocal harmonies, soaring guitar solos, and fantastic musicianship are part of why audiences can't help but to sing and dance along. Cool off with treats from the Dreamsicle ice cream truck.
Sunday, September 7, Joanie Calem Sing Along
Joanie Calem takes audiences on a musical adventure of interactive, fun, thought-provoking songs and stories, guaranteed to provide a delightful time of singing and dancing together. Bring the kiddos to this one for sure and enjoy sweets and drinks from the Donut NV truck, parked by the plaza.
