About this Event

Mayor John Laesch is set to host a new Summer Civics Series to engage the community about the City’s plans for the 2027 budget, along with its long-term outlook on public safety, infrastructure, and sustainability.
On Saturday, August 8, the Mayor’s Office will be hosting a Civics Workshop inside of Council Chambers at Aurora City Hall, located at 44 E. Downer Place, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. The class is designed to build civic skills, deepen the public’s understanding of how City decisions are made, and empower residents to take an active role in shaping Aurora’s future.
