Everyone is welcome to attend this Oscar-winning PG-rated Pixar film (96 minutes) featuring a feisty septuagenarian who reluctantly teams up with a young explorer. Carl Fredricksen is a 78-year-old balloon salesman who dreams of seeing the wilds of South America, and it looks like he may get there after tying enough helium balloons to his house to take flight. The only kink in his plan is the 8-year-old stowaway on his front porch. Attendees get 1 bag of popcorn. Water bottles are encouraged. Cozy blankets and pillows are allowed. Children must be supervised by an adult.This program is a part of the Stillwater Public Library's summer reading program, "Adventure Begins at Your Library," which runs June 1 through July 27.
