Summer Camp: Printmaking | For ages 7-12
About this Event
Join us for a week of hands-on creativity at Printmaking Camp! In this exciting art camp for ages 7–12, young artists will explore a variety of printmaking techniques while experimenting with texture, pattern, repetition, and color. Campers will learn how artists use printing methods to create bold and unique works of art while making their own playful masterpieces all week long.
Projects will include colorful chalk print bird bath, monster reduction prints, creating their own print blocks to decorate an emoji, pumpkin marker foil prints inspired by Yayoi Kusama, and cyanotype silhouette prints created using sunlight. Throughout the week, campers will explore stamping, layering, ink application, and simple relief printing techniques while building confidence and creative problem-solving skills in a fun studio environment.
Printmaking is a week long, half day camp beginning on Monday, July 27 and wrapping up on Friday, July 31. The camp meets every day that week from 9:00am-12:00pm.
