Dates: July 13 - 17, 2026
9 a.m. to Noon
Cost: $200
This fun, hands-on camp helps kids entering grades 3-6 build their reading and writing skills while exploring their creativity. Throughout the week, campers will learn what it’s like to be a real author and illustrator. They will read short stories, practice writing their own ideas, and create artwork to go with their words.
Over five half-days, campers take part in 15 engaging lessons that guide them from brainstorming to making a finished, bound book. At the end of the week, they’ll share their work in a friendly read-aloud celebration.
This camp is great for all kids—confident readers and writers as well as those who could use extra support. Everyone will leave proud of what they created!
