About this Event
Atlanta non-profit, The Pave Foundation, Inc., centers its work around the personal and academic development of young girls within our community. Our Board of Directors believesthat the success of Black girls is dependent upon early exposure and access to a variety of resources and support. Our annual STEAM Summer Camp, Preparing Our Girls for Center Stage, provides girls between the ages of 10-14 with the opportunity to participate in daily
STEM projects, personal development sessions focusing on self-esteem and confidence, leadership and communication skills, interpersonal skills such as kindness, respect, empathy, and tolerance, and dance and the visual art activities. This year’s camp theme, “Saving The Earth,” ensures campers will have fun as they explore the three R’s: reducing, renewing and recycling natural resources and learn how they each can play a part in practicing social, environmental and financial accountability for the sustainability of our planet. This unique, holistic summer program takes place July 10th-14 th , 9 am – 4 pm, at the First Congregational
Church Commons in Downtown Atlanta. The camp registration fee is $100 (25% discount for siblings) and registration will remain open until the first day of camp. Limited camperships are available.
