Get ready for a summer full of creativity and joyful expression at the Art Gallery of Burlington! Our weekly Summer Camps are back for children and youth, with a mix of independent and collaborative projects which encourage skillful and meaningful ways of thinking, seeing, and making contemporary art and craft. Programs offer unique art-making experiences and interactive tours of the gallery's exhibitions, led by our wonderful team of engaging artist-educators.

This year we are offering extended care – if you need to drop off your camper early or pick them up late, we’ve got you covered! Before-care will run from 8:00-8:45am and after-care from 4:00-5:00pm, at a cost of $10/day or $50/week ($40/week for 4-day weeks). Make sure you select this add-on when purchasing your ticket for camp.

Campers ages 7-12 will be treated to a double dose of art camp fun – with half the day spent working on mixed media projects and the other half in the clay studio. Projects inspired by our exhibitions will offer campers a chance to develop their skills in drawing, painting, sculpting and ceramics. Outdoor snack and lunch breaks are a fun, relaxed time to play and make new friends. This camp is for kids who want to take their art skills to the next level, while having some fun, too!

Please note: If courses are purchased at member price, and membership is not active, you will be charged for the membership.

ART MATERIALS for children’s classes are included in the registration fee.

WHAT TO WEAR? Wear something that nobody would mind if it came home dirty or stained - spills and splatters can and do happen! Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

WHAT TO BRING? Snacks and a lunch that are nut-free. We take three breaks in total - two snack breaks and one lunch. If your camper runs out of snacks, we'll have some on hand.

ALLERGY OR SPECIAL NEEDS? Remember to notify us on your registration form if your camper has an allergy, health concern or learning disability that could impact participation in the studio. We want to ensure the best possible experience for all, so please let us know if accommodations should be made.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY: Please review the AGB's COVID-19 safety guidelines on our website before attending your week of camp. All camp guidelines are subject to change in accordance with Provincial health mandates.
