A restorative open house for the summer solstice. This is one of only two nights a year when we stay open past 4 pm. Come take in the light and beauty of our woods, see beautiful bonsai, have a stroll, meet up with friends, take a photo, and breathe in the fresh air of a summery evening.? Watch the mindful practice of bonsai
Victrinia and Eric Ridgeway of Issho-en will be here demonstrating how they tend their bonsai.
? Take a sound bath
Mary Clymer will be leading you through 30 minute Sound Bathing and Breathing sessions starting at 5 PM, 6 PM and 7 PM.
? Try Taichi
The Federal Way Community Center Taichi Group will be leading 30 minute demos at 4:30 pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm.
? Practice yoga
Three Trees Yoga of Federal Way will offer 30-minute sessions starting at 4 PM, 5:30 PM, and 7:30 PM.
? Enjoy our games and art tent
? Pop-up shopping
? Food & beverages from Intentions Juice and Smoothie Bar and Dippy's Ice Cream.
This is one of only two nights during the whole year when we are open past 4pm and admission is free (donations are appreciated). So why not come by to try something new, or rekindle a spark? We hope you can join us!
Free admission (with a suggested donation of $12 for adults who can support the Museum).
