Tuesdays from July 9 to September 10 our friend, Todd Porter, will be leading a study of what Jesus has to say about the Kingdom of God. All are welcome to attend. Here's a teaser:What if "the Gospel" is more than an invitation to salvation? What if "the Gospel" is an invitation to life on earth as it is in heaven? When Jesus began to preach, one of the things he said is "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."
If the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand, then and now, how do we take hold of it? And what even is "the Kingdom of Heaven?" Since Jesus is the one pointing to it, let's look to what he went on to say about it, which turns out to be a lot. He said, "The Kindom of Heaven is like..."

- a merchant seeking fine pearls

- a head of household bring out treasure
- a land owner hiring laborers for the vineyard
- a man who casts seed upon the soil
