Bakers age 9 and up
Level up your budding baker with this Summer intensive baking camp for avid bakers, age 9 and up!
Learn new skills, be challenged by pro recipes, and experiment with techniques and flavours.
The best part: your pastry-chef-in-training will bring home their daily creations to share!
Under the expert guidance of Maggie Frith from The Magpie Cakery (and Semi-Finalist on Season 4 of the CBC Great Canadian Baking Show), your future pastry chef(s) will be prepped with practical baking skills and the confidence to apply them at home.
Your baker will learn:
Five fun, educational and delicious baking themes (up to four recipes per day!)
Baking and pastry theory, plus science
Practical skills for best results
Best baking practices, kitchen safety and hygiene
This 3 and-a-half hour afternoon program includes:
All ingredients, materials and packaging
Hands-on guidance from an experienced chef instructor
Digital recipe booklets to add to your collection
Treats to take home to share with the family
