Summer 2026 Forest School Experience - Edinburgh
About this Event
This Forest School experience is for adoptive and kinship care families. It is run by a qualified forest school practitioner, and is suitable for children aged 6-12.
We will run forest school session on July 28,29 and 30, and August 4,5 and 6. Feel free to book as many as you like - children often benefit from retuning to a place and routine they know.
Forest Schools are nature-based communities. They are learner-led, with qualified leaders supporting young people's interests. For example, we might end up building dens, making rope ladders or swings, doing craft activities or just enjoying some time to play and explore nature.
There are 10 places available on each day. There is a charge to attend but please do get in touch with Anna should this be a barrier to your child's attendance. If booking 2 children into the same session, use the code SIBLINGS to get 2 places for £10.
Forest School is based outdoors and runs rain or shine. Please ensure your child is prepared for all weathers and brings a drink and a snack or two.
Parents are welcome to stay or leave their children during Forest School.
