Suminagashi: Meditative Paper Marbling Workshop at Alewife Brewing

Join in for a creative afternoon of meditative paper marbling at Alewife Brewing. Led by Kelly Laughlin, artist, writer, and founder of Odette Press, you'll learn the basics of the Suminagashi marbling process and find creative flow as you make your own marbled paper.

Truly a meditative class, this process is simple, inspiring, and relaxing. Drop out of the busy week into a creative flow and explore Suminagashi. No experience necessary.

the flow:

We'll start with creative introductions and a short intro to the Suminagashi marbling process. You'll spend the rest of your time exploring ink, color, and shape as you make mesmerizing marbled papers, and leave with a collection of your own marbled papers, great for framing, letter writing, gifting, collaging, etc.
