Suminagashi Marbling Workshop

Step away from the everyday and into the flow with Suminagashi - the centuries old Japanese art of marbling on water. This unique hands on workshop invites you to slow down, play with ink, and create one-of-a-kind prints in a relaxed inspiring space.

The workshop will start with a short introduction to Suminagashi and techniques, followed with plenty of time for experimenting with colourful inks onto a variety of papers.

About the Venue:

Based in the heart of the St John’s area of Tunbridge Wells, by day Even Flow is a family friendly, bright spacious neighbourhood coffee spot, serving expertly brewed drinks, cakes and pastries as well as monthly hot specials, all cooked by their in-house chef.

By night, the venue is transformed into a hub of creativity and community, hosting vibrant supper clubs, inspiring creative workshops and music events.
