Art Centric Studio is excited to announce that for the week of Monday, June 21st through Friday, June 25th we will be offering our much anticipated Dollhouse ArT Camp!! What is involved with designing a dollhouse? Campers will be learning the steps through an already built, all wooden house, measuring 22 ¾" x 8 ¾" x 23 ¼". Will our architects create an art museum, a car museum, a zoo, a traditional home, or a home in space? Starting with drawing and designing blueprints, working on painting while exploring color mixing, learning printmaking for wall paper, weaving for rugs and tapestries, furniture design made with recycled materials, and clay to create dishes, cups, animals, and any other miniature thing our imagination brings will be a part of this camp.
Encompassing design thinking, art techniques, and textile design, in this process oriented ArT Camp.
Friday will be our 'Open House' where parents are welcome to come at 1:30pm for an open studio display of all the campers creations! These all wooden houses will then be going home, completely designed by each architect!
*Please note: due to the size of these dollhouses, we have very limited seating for this camp! We want to be sure your little artist has plenty of room to create!
This camp will be from 10:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon for five days!! Created in hopes of giving children some extra creative time and moms an extra break ;)
Here's our tentative daily schedule:
10:00-10:30 - Free Draw/Drawing Prompts
10:30-11:30 - Artwork Creation: Part 1
11:30-12:15 - Lunch Time/Story Time
12:15-2:00 - Artwork Creation: Part 2/Clean-up

Ages: 5-10
Cost: $250.00 for all five days - cost includes all supplies, reusable 'art bag' that all their 'extra' things go home in on Friday, and pizza lunch (that includes two slices of pizza & a juice box) on Friday!
*The kiddos will need to bring a packed lunch on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Thursday. If your child has a food allergy, please be sure to let us know by emailing us at: [email protected]. We will gladly help your child have the best experience possible.
