Fondรฉ en 2014, SUMAC est lโombre et la lumiรจre dโun sludge metal viscรฉral, imprรฉgnรฉ de lโintensitรฉ รฉmotionnelle et de lโexpรฉrimentation musicale. Composรฉ dโAaron Turner (Old Man Gloom, Mamiffer, Ex-Isis), Brian Cook (Russian Circles, Botch) et Nick Yacyshyn (Baptists), le trio a rapidement marquรฉ les esprits avec des albums comme The Deal (2015), What One Becomes (2016) et Love in Shadow (2018), oรน chaque morceau est une catharsis.
