SUMA:
LET THE CHURCHES BURN is celebrating 20 years in existence this year! BILLY ANDERSON rolled into town on june 6th 2006 and it was recorded and mixed in the following ten days in the south swedish countryside. We’ll be hitting the road in NOVEMBER for a couple of shows performing the album.
We are also looking into the possibilities of a VINYL REISSUE as it’s been sold out for over a decade.

open with their sheer, unrelenting, massive HEAVINESS. Imagine The Melvins’ ‘Lysol’ being played at you full
blast through a wind-tunnel full of Dark Matter; THAT heavy. Seriously, I have no idea how many people there
are in this band, or if indeed you can even CALL them ‘people’, but opening track ‘Headwound’ crushes you
flat with the sound of what must be four or five THINGS manning EACH instrument. The drums, the guitars, the
throbbing, pulsing bass, the howling vocals, ALL sound totally inhuman and mind-bendingly HUGE. THIS is what
Lovecraft was describing when he said “a mountain walked or stumbled”. I shit you not. -THE SLEEPING SHAMAN
DOUBLEWIDE:
Eingängige, treibende Grooves treffen auf fetten Wüstenrock und kraftvolle Growls. Ganz so, als ob Chris Barnes es sich im Corrosion of Conformity-Proberaum gemütlich gemacht hat und mit seinen neuen musikalischen Verbündeten alte Kyuss- und Motörhead-Platten durchstöbert. Das ist allerdings nur eine Seite von DOUBLEWIDE. Schleppender, monolithischer Doom, der sich brachial durch die Gehörgänge walzt, aber auch dunkle, stille Momente mit hypnotischem, cleanem Gesang komplettieren das facettenreiche Klangspektrum.
