"Aye dil-e- Nadaan,
Arzoo kya hai, justaju kya hai.."

The People’s Queen, the warrior, the legend, the only woman to sit on the Takht of Dilli for centuries to come. Remarkable Razia was the only monarch to be chosen by the people back in the 13th century and bestowed with the title of Lashgar-kash (War leader), by renowned historian Juzjani.
Join us in the remarkable story, and mystery of this incredible woman, ahead of her time by centuries. Relive the dramatic events near the Qutb Minar where her rule began.
Razia was the beloved daughter of her enlightened father Sultan Iltutmish, groomed equally like her brothers when it was unheard of. We will delve into unsolved mystery of her grave. her love for her elder Sufi brother Nasiruddin Mahmud of Sultan Garhi shrine. And unravel her legendary story with her husband, the suave Mirza Altunia and her rivalries too. We will talk about her courage in riding elephants, wielding the sword, and discarding the veil at a time of orthodoxy. And finally hear the conspiracies of the male nobility which ultimately brought her down.
Let us behold in this immersive baithak, how in Razia’s short life and reign of 4 years, she set an example for secularism, women’s empowerment, and equality for Hindustanis.
