Info: Black Tapestry is a synth punk, darkwave, and electro duo that draws from the full spectrum of goth music’s shadowy lineage. From the sun-scorched sprawl of Arizona, they weave cold analogue synths, raw guitar textures, and dynamic vocals into a jagged soundscape that pulses with dread, defiance, and beauty.
Their music balances visceral live performance with mechanical precision—melding the intensity of post-punk with experimental noise, industrial rhythms, and darkwave atmospheres. They push the boundaries of genre, evoking influences like Bauhaus, Devo, and Skinny Puppy.
Longtime collaborators Sisi and Ian formed Black Tapestry in late 2021 after nearly two decades of playing together in projects spanning anarcho folk-punk, metal, and electronic music.
