Suicide Risk Management: Assessment, Safety Planning, and Treatment is a live, in-person CEU training taught by Kelly Martin, MA, LPC-S designed for mental health professionals seeking practical, evidence-informed strategies for working with individuals at risk of suicide. This training will cover comprehensive risk assessment, effective safety planning, and treatment interventions you can immediately apply in clinical practice.
In Addition, Ludivina “Ludi” Acevedo, LMFT will be providing a special presentation focused on safety planning considerations and practical strategies for working with neurodivergent populations. Her presentation will highlight the importance of individualized, accessible, and affirming approaches to crisis support and suicide prevention.
The event will be held on July 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cibolo Community Center. Attendees will receive a CEU certificate applicable for LPCs, LMFTs, and LCSWs, along with practical handouts including assessment tools, sample safety plans, and additional clinical resources.
Registration is $65, with a discounted early rate of $50 available through July 1st. Space is limited.
