Fueling Hope Car Show... an event to promote Suicide Prevention Awareness. June 6th from 10am-1pm at Harvest Church Upper Parking Lot. We will have 50/50 Raffles, Auction Baskets, and Food for purchase from Western Empire Emporium. This event is free to attend and donations will be accepted. A local 13 year took her own life in the Fall of 25'
Since that time there has been soo many more teen suicides in our community.
The family is organizing this fund raiser and all the proceeds go towards teen suicide education, resources and prevention..
What that means is paying for therapy, paying for speakers to go into the schools to talk to kids about coping skills, resources and opening up lines of communication so teenagers don’t feel that suicide is the only option they have and implementing support groups for teenagers to have a safe place to talk about the difficulties of being a teenager in this society.
This family does not want their daughter's death to be in vain.
