Jamie Boone Project Presentation
Host: The Jamie Boone Project

Info: After losing their son Jamie to suicide in 2023, Johnny and Anita Boone turned their grief into action. Jamie was known for noticing when others were struggling and sitting with them in difficult moments. The Jamie Boone Project was created to offer tools, education, and support before a crisis occurs. J.A.M.I.E (Just A Mental Inventory Every Day) encourage intentional mental health check-ins and help make conversations about mental health feel more normal and accessible. Jamie's legacy continues through every bag distributed and every conversation started.

Diane Fall Presentation

Info: Diane shares her grief story of her feelings and emotions, including her faith struggles, before and after the suicide death of her son. She includes: some signs of a person possibly contemplating suicide, some common symptoms of grief, and some helpful self care tips to navigate grief. Diane also mentions things that helped and hurt along the way in her grief journey; and way to come alongside someone who is grieving

VA SAVE Training- Veteran Suicide Prevention

Info: VA S.A.V.E Training is a free, brief online or in person course that will help you act with care and compassion if you come across a Veteran who is in crisis or having thoughts of suicide. The acronym S.A.V.E helps you remember the important steps involved in suicide prevention.

Info: NAMI Ending the Silence is an engaging presentation that helps middle, high school aged youth, and older adults learn about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if you or a loved one are showing symptoms of a mental health condition. The presentation includes information about warning signs, facts and statistics, how to approach students and how to work with families. Research has show that NAMI Ending the Silence for Students is effective in changing middle and high school students' knowledge and attitudes toward mental health conditions and toward seeking help!
