As Sugarman’s little sister, this delicate but deceptive tripel exhibits a soft bouquet of belgian spice, clove and subtle citrus notes, aged in oak barrels of a certain Vin Doux - the favourite dessert wine of a quarrelsome Frenchman…

Sugarman - Belgian Quad 10%
Sugarman is a velvety smooth red wine barrel aged strong Belgian Quad-style ale. Darkly inviting in colour, with a silky tan head, the beer exudes the oakey richness of it’s intoxicatingly beautiful plump, black cherry mocha nose. It has a complex, full bodied, spiced dark rum flavour that thrills your palate with its ripe voluptuousness and finishes with an exciting yet sarene complexity.
THE MUSIC:
Rodriguez, The Man – The Music, consists of 4 kids from the 70s who can no longer contain themselves about how the music of Rodriguez changed their lives. Cold Fact was the centre piece among albums like Band On The Run by Paul McCartney, Machine Head by Deep Purple and Goats Head Soup by the Rolling Stones. This was the music we could not wait to get home from school and listen to. Cold Fact was the soundtrack to us flinging our school bags into the corner, ripping off our uniforms and hastily pulling on our cozzies so we could go play on Gonubie beach (fill your after school activities in here). Then when we got home, we’d listen to it again. Man, that record just never got old. And it still isn’t.
So, these kids from the 70s are Flip Squad, Roy Kassel and James Kibby, each having a story to tell and songs to play from the legend that was Rodriguez. We have already performed to sold out houses at Alma Cafe, The Sound Garden, Brass Bell and Karoo Saloon. This isn’t just a tribute show, it’s a time machine thats guaranteed to make you remember..
