We're bringing A Nightmare on 14th Street back to The Rosehip Room - Tremont's best-kept secret. Celebrate the spookiest time of the year with hauntingly good cocktails, a night of dancing with DJ Sobe, and the SugarBooth photo booth to show off your best 'fit. Whether you’re channeling classic horror, modern pop culture, or your own nightmarish invention, your costume could earn you up to $250.

The Rosehip Room, residing in the former basement of The Holy Ghost church, is said to be haunted by the spirit of a former parishioner named Margie. Legend has it that Margie was the last to leave when the church closed its doors, and she never truly left. Guests have reported seeing a shadowy figure in the corner of their eye or feeling an icy touch when no one is near. It’s believed Margie still watches over the space, her presence lingering as a reminder of the church’s past. This Halloween, as you step into The Rosehip Room, keep an eye out—you may be dancing with more than a few spirits on the dance floor.

Hidden on the lower level of The Elliot is The Rosehip Room, an unexpected speakeasy situated under exposed wood beams and wrapped in deep green hues, painted murals, and emerald tiling. The Rosehip Room features a built-in stage and a 27’ quartz bar showcasing the building’s original stained glass, thoughtfully designed for live music, cocktail hours, and private events.

The Elliot has a wheelchair lift with ground-level access from the east side of the building and three ADA-compliant restrooms. The wheelchair lift accesses the lobby and The Rosehip Room. Please ask the staff for assistance.
