Sugar Social: Fall Edition

Sugar Social is back for fall!

Hosted by Micro but Mighty Bakers, Sugar Social is a community dessert picnic that brings together bakers, dessert lovers, and neighbors for an afternoon of sharing something sweet.

The idea is simple: bring a homemade dessert to share and get ready to taste everyone else’s. Our dessert tables will be filled with hundreds of homemade treats created by members of our community—from cakes and cookies to pastries, breads, bars, and everything in between.

For our fall Sugar Social, we’re celebrating the flavors of the season. Think apple, maple, pumpkin, chai, cinnamon, brown butter, caramel, pecan, and all the warm, cozy flavors that make fall baking so good. Seasonal desserts are encouraged, but absolutely not required!

How it works

Bring a dessert. Each attendee brings one homemade dessert to contribute to the community dessert tables.

Grab a box. Once the Social begins, fill your box with treats you want to try from the incredible selection brought by our community.

Stay & socialize. Bring a picnic blanket or chairs, find a spot on the lawn, meet fellow bakers and dessert lovers, and enjoy your haul.

You do not need to be a professional or cottage baker to participate. If you love to bake, love dessert, or simply want to meet more people in Sacramento’s baking community, you belong at the table.

Come with something sweet to share and leave with a box full of treats, new connections, and probably a few new favorite bakers.
