Hailing from the live music capital of the world, Austin Texas, there is no denying singer-songwriter CMaze’s musical pedigree. With vocal stylings that span r&b, rock, soul and pop, CMazes’ steady ascent on the music world is one you’ll want to watch out for.

Like musical greats before him, CMaze got his start in church singing with the choir at age 10. Vocally, he draws inspiration from the likes of Ella Fitzgrald, Freddie Mercury and more. As a songwriter, he studies contemporary greats like Mariah Carey and Frank Ocean. A unicorn in his own right, CMaze’s sound floats effortlessly across genres thanks to his love for the likes of Panic! at the Disco, Paramore and many others.

On his own, CMaze released his first EP HXNST, an alternative pop project laden with R&B and rock inflections in 2022. These days, the singer is fully embracing an alternative rock sound that is setting him miles apart from his peers.

KAMASAKI CORPORATION was originally a band borne out of a desire to hear my solo music (under the name kamasakii.+*) be performed in a live setting. In the two and a half years since our inception we've been working hard, figuring out how to funnel all of my specific genre influences like R&B, MPB, and DnB into an original band sound—though those genres can seem vastly different, they only really scratch the surface of what style(s) KAMASAKI CORPORATION brings to the table!
