About this course
This course is an beginners guide to learn about how to model a selection of vegetables from fondant.
You will learn skills and techniques to shape the fondant into a pea pod, carrot, cabbage, cauliflower, aubergine, courgette, leek, radish.
This course is suitable for anyone with an interest in cake making and decoration, no previous experience is required. Through attending the course, you will learn how to make a number of different vegetables using fondant icing, that can be used to decorate any cake or muffin.
Resources required by attendees:
- Board
- Corn flour
- Edible glue or cool boiled water
- Knife
- Rolling pin
- Ball tool
- Dresden tool or cocktail stick
- Fondant icing with sugar florist paste mixed equal parts or modelling paste.
- Brushes
- Colours: Green different shades , yellow, red, orange, purple, brown,
- Small daisy plunge cutter- Calyx
- Small star cutter
- Piping nozzles tip no 12.
- Small round fluted/plain scone cutter.
- Apron
- Something to carry home in
- Note pad and pen.

To book and enrol on one of our courses, you must have been living in England and have been resident in the UK for the past 3 years.
Some exceptions may apply if you are living in England with evidence of the right to remain and are from an EEU/EEAU country (completion of a questionnaire will be required).
