Suffolk's World Record Attempt 2026 of the Largest Cancer Awareness Ribbon

Mark your calendars – Saturday 11th April 2026 – because Suffolk is about to make HISTORY! Together, we’re attempting to break the World Record for the largest Human Cancer Awareness Ribbon… and we need YOU to be part of it!

🌟 Our Goal: 10,000 incredible people, all coming together to form one giant ribbon of love, strength, and remembrance. Whether you’re standing in honour of someone you’ve lost, or showing support for a loved one fighting cancer right now, this is your chance to shine in their colour and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with your community.

Everyone who attends the World Record attempt will receive an official Hope to Connect World Record Attempt Participant Certificate — a keepsake of your legacy and a reminder that you were part of something truly meaningful for the UK.

🎟 How to Participate in the World Record Attempt:

1. Purchase your ticket!
- Adults (16+ year old): £9.95 participation ticket.
- Children (under 16 years, must be accompanied by an adult): £4.95 participation ticket.

* Important note: Children under the age of 5 entering the world record MUST be held by their parent or legal guardian. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Info: Ticket gates will close at 2pm to ensure all attendees are on site ready to be positioned for the World Record attempt.

Info: We will start to position all attendees for the World Record attempt. Be sure you are wearing your coloured hoodies/cap for the aerial photo and video. Be sure you've used the rest room as once positioned, you must stay where you are in the ribbon shape. Be sure you are not carrying any bags, etc., (except valuables that can be put in your pockets), so the photo/video is not cluttered. Please note that this process may take an hour so ensure you've had water, used the rest room and placed your valuables in your vehicle or pockets.

Info: We hope that by 16:00, our adjudicators will have all needed to count the number of people in the world record challenge. At this time, we'll take a big photo and drone video of you all! :)
