Substance and Drug misuse Drug user gudenace workshop

Wednesday 18th November 2024 Compass Safe East Young People’s Drug and Alcohol Services warmly invites to our 4hr face to face Substance/Drug misuse and Substance misuse and Drug user screening tool training/workshop, led by Training and Implementation lead Shakira Lawal. In this session, you will have the opportunity to connect with other professionals and learn from each other about the role substances/drugs play and their impact on the lives of young people. We will explore and discuss why young people take drugs and the effects on their physical and mental well-being.

Most importantly, you will be shown how to refer young people to Compass Safe East young people and support programs to address issues around substance misuse.

Time - Substance misuse and Drug user screening tool (DUST) (12pm-4)

160 Whitechapel Rd, London E1 1BJ (this venue is fully wheel chair accessible including toilets).

This is an indoor event , hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be available and the space will be cleaned thoroughly before the event .
