Substance Abuse Prevention Workshop

This Alcohol and Drug prevention workshop is designed for parents, youth, caregivers, teachers and other community members to provide education on the current trends in substance use and abuse. Presenters from Rebekah Children's Services will also cover strategies for building communication with youth on the topic of substances such as opioids and offer strategies for preventing substance use and abuse in youth.

This event is part of Silicon Valley Reads 2023. Silicon Valley Reads is a community engagement program that features books and an annual theme to bring people together by providing more than 100 free, public events each year in February and March. For 2023, Silicon Valley Reads will set off on a “Journey to New Beginnings.”
