Submerged with Shrader Healing and Things I Tell You at Drips Botanical Elements

On September 21, 2024 at 7pm Drips Botanical Elements invites you to join us for an evening of meditation and sound bathing among the plants with Shrader Healing and Things I Tell You. Cost for the event is $30. Tickets on sale starting September 6, 2024.

Shrader Healing is comprised of Ellie and Matthew Shrader. They are featured regularly at Lauritzen Gardens, as well as having a private healing practice.

Things I Tell You are Becki and Tres Johnson, they are the owners of Drips Botanical Elements.

We will be setting up Things I Tell You in the Drips Pod, and Shrader Healing in the big room. The night will begin with an orientation of the space. Things I Tell you will be then playing a short set in the Pod. Then in the main room Shrader Healing will begin a guided meditation designed to help you get back into your body. They’ll move into sound using gongs, crystal bowls, flutes, shruti boxes, monalina, drums, and voice. They then bring you back to the room to wake up or come-to slowly. To close out the night Things I Tell You will be playing another short set in the Pod.

Sound bath is a meditative experience where attendees are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by a variety of healing instruments. Sound meditation doesn’t always have a catchy melody or rhythm one would associate with going to a concert, but instead is a carefully selected wash of instrument and voice with notable resonance and overtones. During the sound meditation, participants lie on their backs—sometimes referred to as the Savasana position in yoga—for the entire experience.

Please arrive at no later than 6:55 PM to find your spot and get situated; we invite you to bring yoga mats, blankets, pillows, eye masks, and anything else you need to feel comfortable during the sound bath.

We ask that you avoid wearing any fragrances or fragranced hygiene supplies prior to attending this sound bath as there are people that are chemically sensitive.
