Preston Charles, better known by his stage name, SubDocta, exploded onto the scene in 2017 with his wildly successful single “2009 Was Tight”, catching major support from a number of heavy hitters, including Bassnectar. SubDocta is most know for throwing down and producing his own brand of dubstep and hybrid music that he has ‘so eloquently’ dubbed “West Coast Wobble”, paying tribute to his upbringing on the west coast of the United States.
SubDocta’s music has been released on Fresh Blood, Borgore’s new label imprint , as well as SubCarbon, label imprint to Ganja White Night. He has also supported Ganja White Night on a number of sold-out shows and was called on by Riot Ten to support on his 2018 “Hype Or Die” Tour, by Dirt Monkey to support on his “Rise Of The Octopeel” Tour, and by Opiuo to support on his 2018 “SYZYGY 01” Tour.
As one of the fastest growing bass acts, SubDocta has blessed the stages of some of the coolest festivals in North America, including, but not limited to; Valhalla, Big Dub Festival, Lucidity, StillDream, The Untz, Enchated Forest, Infrasound, and Bass Camp, to name a few. With no signs of slowing down, and growing support from his peers, SubDocta's debut EP "West Coast Wobble" released on SubCarbon in 2018 and reached #1 on the Beatport top 100 dubstep releases.

BLACK CARL-
The perceptual phenomenon in which one sees colors in music is a form of what is called “synesthesia”. This rare condition is what gave me the idea to embark on a mission to showcase people of color in the music scene, in hopes to educate, inspire, and increase their visibility in an otherwise homogenized industry. First up: Black Carl!
Carl Bell, who performs under the alias ‘Black Carl!‘, is a bass producer in Alabama that’s been making serious strides if you’ve been paying attention. The 23-year old artist’s neuro style has afforded him supporting slots for big artists such as Liquid Stranger, Boogie T, Freddy Todd, and many more! He graciously agreed to let us pick his brain about everything from producing his first song, to his exciting new side-project with VCTRE.
