Stéphane Tissot is the Jura’s benchmark producer, a larger-than-life icon immortalized in so many books on French wine and the Jura, famed for his inventive farming, beguilingly intense wines, and almost magician-like command of minimalist winemaking. Personally, this man is my favourite vigneron in the world. I have been aching for the day I could finally lead a tasting of his immense, mind-expanding wines, but the opportunity has eluded us due to the rarity of his wines and the eye-watering yields of the sub-Alpine region in these last few vintages. Thankfully, that day has finally come! Join us at Color de Vino on December 18th for a very special tasting of these rare wines, timed perfectly for Christmas gifting.
