The Free Black Women's Library is a grassroots funded literary hub, social site, Black Feminist archive, and community care space that features over 5000 books by Black women and Black non-binary folks, as well as a wide range of free public programs, special events, and creative workshops, a free store, period pantry, backyard garden, virtual reading club, and weekly book swap.

Fashion should be accessible, expressive, and rooted in care for ourselves and our communities. Join us for an interactive workshop where we’ll explore how to build your personal style using what’s already in your closet, practice slow and sustainable fashion strategies, and reimagine thrifting as a tool for confidence and creativity. Together, we’ll even co-create a citywide “slow fashion map” of resources to support your journey toward a more sustainable wardrobe.

CAM is a community organizer and an art builder interested in building community and knowledge about historical traditions of art, storytelling, and culture.
