With Thanksgiving fast approaching, several community organizations are coming together to help those in need by hosting one of the largest holiday food drives in the state!Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin’s 28th Annual Stuff the Bus event kicks off at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 21st at SIX Milwaukee-area Metro Market stores (see locations below) and continues throughout the day until 6 p.m. Donors are asked to bring non-perishable food items from home, or purchase a pre-packed Sack Hunger Bag for $5 at the check-out lines of any of the three participating Pick ‘n Save locations to fill the Milwaukee County Transit System bus parked in front of each store. Supporters may also make monetary donations in-person during the event to ensure our neighbors in need have nutritious food to eat, not just during the holidays, but all year long.
99.1 The Mix, 105.7 The FAN, and 103.7 KISS-FM will have on-air personalities on location throughout the day, as well as guest appearances by several local personalities, organizations, and even Santa!
