Sign-up to compete in (or save-the-dates for!) the 2022 16th Stueart Pennington World Championship Running of the Tubs! You'll have all year to craft and complete your Tub! In the history of the World Championship Running of the Tubs, we have never opened registration this early. However, thanks to everyone who made this year's race the best EVER, we've decided to up our game and spend all year planning for even more fun, more surprise and more TUBS! Sign-up early for potentially zany perks that might give you a leg up on all the competition next year!

The event is free to the public and consists of costumed teams loading up in authentic wheeled bathtubs for a race through the streets of Hot Springs. Audiences are also encouraged to come out with “water guns, house slippers, shower cap, and robe, to join in on all the fun while watching the parade along Historic Bathhouse Row!

The event is a celebration of Hot Springs’ historic past when the city proclaimed “We Bathe The World!” and the coveted "Stueart Pennington Cup" is named in honor of Stueart Pennington, a well-known and respected downtown businessman.
