*Please RSVP so we can better plan for the amount of people*We’re thrilled to announce our next “field trip” – a studio tour at Nancy Briggs Pottery! Nancy will be walking us through her creative space, giving a behind-the-scenes look at how she creates her stunning art. She’ll also be demonstrating her process, and we’ll get to try out her newly purchased Strong Arm, perfect for centering large amounts of clay on the wheel.
Want to test it out? It’s BYOC – Bring Your Own Clay (6 lbs or more) and a bat if you’d like to give it a spin!
Important Notes:
**Parking is limited, so we encourage coordinating carpools, parking on a nearby street (Jefferson or Franklin Ave.), and walking over, or parking in Nancy’s driveway.
Don’t forget to bring your clay and bat if you plan to participate!
***Reminder: We’re asking for single cup/mug donations to help grow our funding for a visiting artist to present at one of our future group events. Like the event at NCECA, you can price it, and we’ll sell it for you! It’s a great way to advertise your work and contribute to bringing more exciting experiences to our group. All donations will be sold at PotteryFest on October 13th.
