About this Event

This two-part Studio to Success workshop is designed to help artists promote exhibition openings and studio events with clarity, confidence, and follow-through.Instead of leaving with “good ideas,” you’ll leave with a plan—and materials you can actually use.Led by Jean Blackwell Font of Font Squared, we’ll cover end-to-end event marketing for artists, from venue selection to post-event follow-up, with an emphasis on building collector relationships and earning media coverage.
Part 1: Event Marketing Training

Part 2: Hands-On Event Planning Workshop (Included)

Based on what we learn in February, this hands-on session is where you’ll build your plan and start creating your promotional assets.Activities include:
- Plan upcoming exhibitions or studio events
- Create marketing timelines and checklists
- Design promotional materials
- Practice media pitch development
